Your baggage allowance depends on the fare you book. Every Umza passenger travels with one piece of hand baggage plus a checked allowance — with room to add more if you need it.

Allowances are per adult or child passenger. Infants without a seat do not receive a checked allowance but may bring essentials on board.
Hand baggage — the essentials
- One piece that fits in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you
- A small personal item (handbag or laptop bag) in addition, where space allows
- Keep medication, documents, valuables and devices in your hand baggage

Extra bags
Add extra or overweight baggage during booking or at the airport, subject to availability.
Sports & special items
Carry sporting equipment or oversized items — tell us in advance so we can prepare.
Restricted items
Some items can’t fly, and some only in the hold. Check before you pack.
Overweight or excess baggage
Bags over your allowance are carried subject to space and an excess-baggage charge. Packing within your allowance is always cheaper than paying at the airport.
